Job Description:

Leidos is currently looking for a DoD Administrative Support Specialist for Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The DoD Administrative Support Specialist will perform a variety of duties to support the Division Support Branch of CECOM TSD.

Primary Responsibilities: Involved in the administrative, management, or analyst duties that require analytical ability, judgment, knowledge of the organization, and the ability to manage programs. Develop customer database on Excel worksheets to track customer operations and locations. Using Word and Acrobat Reader I process Permanent Change of Station and Temporary Duty orders. Provide assistance and insure proper completion of travel records for personnel. Create and edit administrative documentation. Provide inputs into the Automated Time and Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS) for all assigned personnel. Extended use of Excel and Word Programs. Manage the FED-EX/mail system for the building. Prepare/ process PCS, TDY, and Invitational travel orders.

Other duties include, but are not limited to:
• Prepare personnel files
• Develop data Bases
• Assist FSSD and TSD with preparation of PCS orders
• Enter FED-EX shipping for tools and equipment
• Assist CFE Support Branch with processing deployment documentation and claims
• Review time and attendance into the ATAAPS system for the Govt. employees
• Track/ review claims
• Assist G8 with audit for claims submitted
• Assist G8 with audit for claims not submitted
• Work with DNRP for home sale and property management for DOD employees assigned
• Review and assist OA with regulation required for claims submitted

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred, experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
1 - 2 years of related experience required

Candidate must have an active Secret clearance
Proficient in MS Office suite
Working knowledge of Share point
Familiarity with and understanding of: Federal travel regulations, ATAAPS time keeping system, DTS, Federal file systems
Must have excellent Verbal and written communication and presentation skills
