The Leidos Civil team is hiring for a Java Developer to support work with the IRS. The job duties will include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Research, design, development, and/or modifications to application software to integrate disparate systems for a Federal Government agency
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation in support of the project.
- Configuration management and assembling the releases of the code base
- Maintain correspondence imaging and scanning work
- Creation and maintenance of AMS interfaces with other IRS systems
- Must be flexible and adaptable, able to develop using a wide variety of methods and technologies
- Must have a good understanding of connection pooling
- Must have experience with multi-threaded applications
- Must have experience with large scale systems
- Must feel comfortable interacting with clients
- Must have strong analytical skills and be detail oriented
- Must have effective verbal communication skills

Typical Minimums
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 7+ years of professional experience for mid-level developers.
