Job Description:

The CSS group of Leidos has a career opening for a Technical Writer, located in Ft Meade, MD

The Technical Writer coordinates, collects input, develops, maintains and disseminates program documentation for the Program Management Office (PMO); Program Manager (PM), Deputy PM, Technical Task Order (TTO) Leads, Staffing Coordinator, Business Manager, and Program Control Analyst (PCA). The Tech Writer also coordinates, develops, formats, disseminates and tracks the program documentation outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).

Responsible for editing, proofreading and providing writing support on non-technical and/or technical documents or sections of documents prepared by writers such as manuals, procedures and specifications. Duties may include ensuring documents meet editorial and government specifications and adhering to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format and style

Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. This position requires strong experience using MS Word and MS Excel. Must have strong organizational skills.

Basic Qualifications:
Requires a BA degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience.
