Job Description:

The ACC Lead will provide administrative support to personnel. Lead dispatcher responsible for the overall coordination of schedules and resource dispatch, as well as itinerary planning and tracking the progress of schedules.

The ACC Lead performs oversight of Dispatchers and the ACC. This tasking equates to a full time responsibility that will be located at the main on-site Alliance Facility

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead dispatcher is responsible for overall coordination of schedules and resource dispatch, as well as for itinerary planning and tracking the progress of schedules
• Responsibilities include tracking correspondence; answering telephones; communicating with aircrews via satellite phone, radio, or other devices as determined by operational requirements; and performing flight-following and aircraft-tracking using government-provided software
• Ensures all schedules are supported, including alternative work schedules that include hours outside of normal duty hours (7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), and on weekends and holidays, depending on mission requirements
• Responsible for clerical and support tasks, including maintaining aviation, financial, or other records; verifying accuracy and completeness of reports; generating travel arrangements; and coordinating country clearances for aircraft crews

Basic Qualifications

Demonstrate supervisory skills to manage the workforce at the ACC. Applicants must be prepared to work all shifts; including but not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays.
High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable, and 5 plus years experience.

FAA Dispatcher's certificate is required. Experience in a FAR 121/135 flight operations center is required. International experience preferred.

Must have good working knowledge of world geography. Must possess exceptional attention to detail and abstract problem solving capabilities.

Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Ability to convert between different units of measure.
