he Defense Civilian Personnel Data System program at Leidos currently has an opening for a Senior IT Systems Engineer, Scrum Master to work at San Antonio, Texas.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Defense Manpower Data Center organization within the Department of Defense with their mission to operate, sustain, maintain and evolve the data system supporting personnel actions for over 900,000 DoD Civil Service personnel.
In this mission, Leidos provides system engineering support for new capabilities development, life-cycle replacements and sustainment of current operational capabilities.
Leading multi-disciplinary teams to design, develop and implement changes to the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS).
Develop technical white papers and architecture designs.
Produce technical implementation plans and deployment checklists.
Lead the deployment of the developed capability.
Lead problem investigations in support of system operations.
Perform Agile Scrum Master duties as a key part of the development team.
Must be US Citizen.
Active Public Trust experience.
Ability to obtain US Government IT-2 Public Trust clearance, and be adjudicated to the DCPDS program.
Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years' experience, or additional relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor's
or a Master's degree and 6 or more years' experience relevant to development of large data processing systems.
Previous experience with project leadership on large information technology projects.
Project Management Professional certification.
Agile Scrum Master certification.
Experience working as a team member on large Department of Defense programs.
