Coordinate, plan and schedule pilot training in accordance with FAA regulations. Maintain and report all pilot training activities to assist the Flight Program Lead Pilot in ensuring all pilots maintain currency, proficiency and mission readiness at all times.
The primary responsibilities for the Pilot Training Coordinator include day-to-day maintenance of the flight training calendar, custodial maintenance of flight records, providing scheduling assistance for external vendor training, forecasting currency requirements, and entering data into OA's selected software as required. There are 139 pilots who require multiple training events annually. The Pilot Training Coordinator will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and record keeping in accordance with FAA regulations for all aviation training events. The Pilot Training Coordinator will develop and update the training summary report monthly for submittal to the COR. The Pilot Training Coordinator reports directly to the FPLP. This position is a full time responsibility and will be located at the main on-site Alliance Facility. Maintains a direct line of communications with the ATO.

Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1 - 3 years of prior relevant experience.
Researches and develops flight training programs for an organization.
Develops methods and materials for training, including classroom, computer, and simulator sessions.
May coordinate training with external vendors.
Must stay abreast of FAA regulations and determine relevancy to company employees.
Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
