The Supply Chain/Inventory Technicians are responsible for conducting inventories, analyzing supply levels to ensure appro-priate stocking levels, and execute warehouse operations. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
• Perform and document the incoming inspection to identify, control, segregate, and maintain all materials (including raw materials and parts) according to the manufacturer requirements or standard industry practices.
• Control and distribute the inventory.
• Ship material and parts following all HAZ MAT and shipping regulations.
• Ensure they are familiar with the proper procedures for detecting and reporting suspected unapproved parts as required by Leidos Incorporated's RSM/QCM.
Supports all aspects of inventory management, including supply, material control and management (i.e., consumable and repairable parts), property management, shipping and receiving (international and domestic), stock replenish-ment, inventory control, freight and transportation management, surplus property, serialized parts, core exchanges, tool control, and warranty program, while ensuring compliance with contract requirements, standards, and regulations. Within the Leidos 14 CFR Part 145 the Supply Chain/Inventory Technician acts as the "Shipping/Receiving Clerk". This tasking equates to a full time responsibility that will be located at the main on-site Alliance Facility.
Based on processes and procedures at the Leidos 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station and proven processes and procedures within similar aviation programs; 3 full time Supply Chain/Inventory Technicians are required to ensure the fleet maintains operational readiness.
Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 - 4 years of prior relevant experience in supply/parts distribution and control.
Familiar with computerized maintenance software, able to obtain a Secret clearance, U.S. passport, U.S. driver's license , performs shipping and receiving function.
