Leidos is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead a team of project managers, all of whom support the FAA's En Route Facilities Improvement Program. The candidate will support the project team's efforts in furthering the goals of the FAA. These goals include: (1) Reduction in operation risks and costs associated with obsolete infrastructure failures; (2) Support of air traffic operations through the implementation of associated facility modernization and automation projects. This position will require daily interaction with the FAA program office and their contractor project managers; FAA project Implementation managers in the service centers nationwide; and the Planning and Requirements specialists nationwide.
Leidos delivers services and technical leadership for mission-critical federal government, public sector and private-sector programs. The position is within the Leidos' Civil organization supporting our customer, the Federal Aviation Administration. This position is location in SW Washington, DC, near the L'Enfant Plaza Metro station.
A Bachelors or Master's degree in architecture or civil engineering or construction management with 8+ years of relevant experience. Experience with MEP systems highly desirable. Candidate will lead efforts to collect and analyze data of project costs and project schedules and shall present this data to the FAA management in multiple monthly meeting presentations. Candidate will also lead efforts by the team of project managers to update drawings in Bentley Microstation and to maintain a database of FAA square footage nationwide. Candidate must be well-versed in MS Office Suite, but Candidate need not be versed in Microstation.
