Job Description:

Leads Supply Chain Technicians to ensure domestic and foreign work site inventories are adequate to perform maintenance activities of the aircraft assigned to those locations and update the MRO to maintain accountability and control of all inventories.

Responsible for a wall-to-wall physical inventory to include field sites annually based on the Government's fiscal year ending September 30. Completes an annual joint GFP inventory during the fourth quarter of the fiscal year on a schedule mutually agreeable to the Government and Leidos

Primary Responsibilities

List daily duties and/or specific job responsibilities.

The Supply Chain/Inventory Manager leads inventory at Alliance, 4 CONUS AROs, 4 OCONUS AROs, and 35 FBOs and establishes and maintains a system to control and account for all serialized parts pursuant to core exchanges, repairable parts, and warranties.

Core exchanges will be reported as cost avoidance during maintenance support.

Controls and accounts for all warranties associated with the acquisition of serialized parts and services.

Ensures Supply Chain Technicians complies with all manufacturer instructions and conditions for all items and events under warranty.

During the warranty period, coordinates with the warrantor for all repairs, maintenance and replacements.

Upon expiration of the warranty period, ensures the Leidos Supply Chain Technicians will assume responsibility for all maintenance and repair related said items.

Oversees the Leidos Supply Chain Technicians maintains information to document and monitor the warranty instructions, conditions, and period to ensure full benefit to the Government

Evaluates test equipment requirements continuously to ensure that necessary equipment is available to support the Government aircraft maintenance program. The Leidos Supply Chain Lead will provide recommended additions or replacements

Basic Qualifications

A High School Diploma Degree or equivalent military or corporate background experience is required. Preferred BA degree and 2 - 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant
experience.
The Supply Chain Manager shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the Property Management career field, in lieu of a degree.
The Supply Chain Manager must be experienced with a strong working knowledge of the following areas:
1) inventory and property management;
2) shipping and receiving (international and domestic); 3) stock usage and replenishment (high/low limits)
4) freight and transportation management;
5) surplus property;
6) hazardous material control and
7) repairable stock management. Demonstrated experience in general aviation is required.
