Leidos has an immediate career opening for an ISR Technical Advisor at Nellis AFB NV
Applicant will provide expertise in ISR Operations at the Air Force Group level. The position will serve as a technical expert in AF ISR Operations to associated units, and provide feedback/assistance with 365th and associated unit products. Incumbent will manage day-to-day higher-level tasking, and preparing reports, briefings, and statistical analysis of ongoing efforts from units and Group. Position will liaise with entities within the Nellis AFB community to improve training for ISR professionals participating in major force exercises on the Nevada Test and Training Range. The position regularly interfaces with client leadership and end-users for daily operations, presentations, and status reports. The applicant must be able to create task goals, project plans, and schedules. The position participates in special projects, as required.
Applicants must possess a TS/SCI clearance. The applicant should have a Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 6 years ' experience or minimum of 10 years Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) experience within the U.S Air Force. The incumbent should possess in depth knowledge of USAF intelligence units, their missions, and organizational structure. The applicant must have previous participation in a large force exercise at Nellis AFB (RED FLAG, GREEN FLAG, WSINT, etc.) with a USAF intelligence organization. Experience within a USAF Distributed Ground Control Station is a plus. Expertise in IC writing standards and reporting also a plus. The applicant should exude excellent interpersonal communication skills and professional demeanor. The prospective employee must have ability to effectively organize and analyze information, produce reports, position papers, and briefings that are responsive to specific needs of 365 ISRG senior leadership. The applicant must be able to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing on complex issues.
Active duty as U.S Air Force officer/NCO in ISR related position. Experience in Plans and Programs (XP) at an AF Wing or above is highly desirable, to include ISR support to exercise operations.
