Job Description:

Leidos Defense Division is currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support our DISA Global Grid Management Organization (GSMO) working with our PCR, INC COMIT Technology Management System. All work is to be performed on site at our Pacific Ford Island,, HI location and requires an active DOD Secret Clearance as well as a current IAT II 8570 Certification (Security+ce or higher).

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for technical planning, system hardware-software-network design, development and integration, verification and validation, and fielding of the COMIT systems. You will evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. Your duties include performing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide support to PCR, INC. COMIT system which is a sophisticated Technology Management System used for interaction with the Alcatel Lucent 5ESS Telephony Switches which provide POTS services to all Military Departments in the Hawaii Region.

Employ ingenuity and creativity to develop new technical solutions and systems in order to achieve functional objectives on the Legacy COMIT Application.

Communicates efficiently and effecively with internal team members across multiple areas and with parties external to the organization (e.g., sub-contractors, vendors, etc.).

Works to influence project/team leaders regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.

Basic Qualifications

Requires BS degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience. Industry Certification (Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle Certified Expert, etc.) Security+CE or higher, and DOD Secret Clearance. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Working Knowledge of the COMIT Application would be preferred

MS Office Experience, Crystal Reports, CISSP or similar experience/qualification
