Job Description:

Leidos is currently seeking a Logistics Supervisor that will work and travel in between customer sites as needed. Customer sites include Kandahar, Kabul and Mazar-e Sharif, Afghanistan. The Logistics Supervisor will supervise the day to day logistics activities and supervise logistics personnel across program sites. The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring complete logistical support of program to include aircraft parts, special tools, calibrated items, test equipment, repair and return of components, and support items.

Other duties will include, but not be limited to:
Manages and maintains accountability of GFP/GFE across the entire program.
Coordinates with corporate SCM organization to ensure timely acquisition and delivery of materials.
Reviews reports, papers, drawings, specifications, procedures, etc.; consolidates comments from various organizations; and drafts reports.
Coordinates with functional areas to forecast requirements and costs.
Assists in maintaining program management data, planning schedules and documents.
Analyzes and researches material to gain a thorough understanding of the management, organizational and business elements supporting a task assignment.
Assists in preparing oral presentations and written reports.
Good communications skills, working knowledge of word processing and integrated software applications, management and organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
Position may require travel and the ability to pass and maintain a security clearance.

This position is located in Afghanistan on a 90/30 rotation.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, computer science, information systems, math or business
5 or more years of logistics experience. Experience in aviation logistics is a plus.
Very familiar with Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel and Access

As the position location is in Afghanistan, the following requirements need to be met:
US citizen
Active passport with a minimum of 12 months before expiration prior to start date.
Visa with multiple entries for 12 months prior to start date
Completion of Customer required International Readiness Certifications prior to deployment.
Failure to complete any of these actions within 60 days of accept will result in rescinding of the offer. If the candidate is unable to pass the medical screening after the start date and prior to deployment an immediate administrative termination will be requested.

Preferred Qualifications:
MD530 Experience Preferred
Preferred Aviation background experience
Understanding and accepting local languages, customs and traditions (to be able to work with local customs, transport systems and language interpretation)
Ability to work and live in a team environment
Military deployment experience is highly desired and deployment experience to the CENTCOM region is desired
Master's degree desired
