Job Description:

The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Configuration Management Specialist to work at our Integration and Logistics Center in Chesapeake, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Surface Sonar mission. In this mission, Leidos provides engineering and technical support for the United States Navy's Undersea Warfare (USW) System.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage configuration of hardware and software baselines
  • Develop and manage fielding plans for delivery of upgrades
  • Prepare plans, fielding plans, and recommended configuration changes for presentations and meetings
  • Work closely with Configuration Control Board and communicate need for changes in configuration
  • Provide reviews of design documents, drawings, schematics, and engineering changes
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert guidance to In-Service Engineering Agent with regards to change management


Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's level degree in any field with 3 years' professional experience in configuration management

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with shipboard modifications, processes, and 9090-310 standards

Expert understanding of Navy Modernization Process Maintenance Operation Manual
