More About the Role:
The GSA CAMEO program at Leidos currently has an opening for an AWS DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer supporting a services platform developed for the General Services Administration (GSA), called the FAS Cloud Services (FCS) Platform. This is a senior software development position that requires secure coding, software architecture and design skills, and customer engagement.
FAS Cloud Services (FCS) is a Services Platform that leverages a secure cloud environment to deliver Application Services to GSA Systems. The Services provide application modernization features that allow for a significant reduction in infrastructure and operating costs by leveraging shared products that are built "secure by design" and are supported by an enterprise team. FCS's business mission is, "Let the developers focus on development and we will handle the rest." FCS delivers Products and Services that provide key development tools and capabilities for Application Tenants and Data Consumers. The foundation of these Products and Services is a highly integrated DevOps pipeline that automates how Tenants can manage their Applications with FCS Products. FCS has performed the heavy lifting by developing all the core integrations required to provide a secure environment that scales and provides value to your application and data needs.
What You'll Get to Do:
-Enhance and support solutions and services for applications hosted on the FCS Platform, including continuous integration and deployment, monitoring, logging and reporting.
-Identify and design new solutions to Platform or Tenant needs, including defining features, architecture and user stories for implementation.
-Enhance and support the security posture of the FCS Platform, including security vulnerability analysis and remediation.
-Support current and prospective FCS tenants with technical and solutioning requests.
-Be flexible, agile, and learning-oriented.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
-Requires BS degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience.
-Demonstrated software development skills, preferably Ansible or Python.
-Requires prior DevOps experience.
-Must be eligible for Public Trust clearance (U.S. Citizenship, or legal residency with limited foreign travel).
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
-AWS Professional Certifications.
