Leidos has an opportunity to join a team of individuals supporting the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Washington, DC as a Senior Security Analyst. This candidate should have strong organizational skills and be a time conscious self-starter who understands and can successfully demonstrate professional experience utilizing analytical skills and writing ability to present viable alternatives and make professional recommendations.

Primary Responsibilities

The candidate will plan, perform, facilitate and assist with analyzing known and potential risks and threats directed at the Intelligence Community (IC) including but not limited to the FBI. They should have relevant experience conducting and evaluating Top Secret/Secret investigations with preferred experience in counterintelligence/espionage, counterterrorism, criminal matters, and personnel security investigations.

Additionally they will render highly effective personnel security adjudications based on expert examination of the facts and supporting evidence; and conduct open source internet checks in support of investigations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Hold a BA/BS in any area of study.

o Five (5) years of demonstrated successful professional experience utilizing analytical skills and ability to present viable alternatives and make professional recommendations.

o Eight (8) years of demonstrated knowledge and application of NISPOM standards.

o Five (5) years of demonstrated knowledge and application of OPM personnel security related to obtaining and maintaining a security clearance

o Demonstrated experience in industrial security matters, pertinent national industrial security policies, directives, and programs.

o Ability to formulate and suggest industrial security mitigating risks reduction measures and assists in their implementation

o Ability to write comprehensive and concise reports, and present and brief executive level management, internal and external to an organization.

  • Experience as a Facility Security Officer

o ASIS Certification as a Certified Protection Professional
