Leidos has a career opportunity for a Joint Air-Ground Integration Specialist at Langley AFB. Candidates must currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance in order to be considered.
Applicants must be knowledgeable in all aspects of Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) development, operations and programming; Joint integration to include airspace management, fires integration, weapons effects and applications and tactical maneuver operations; familiar with Multi-Domain Operations/Command and Control (MDO/C2), with an emphasis on the ability to integrate/address MDO/C2 concepts into Joint integration efforts. Applicants will oversee the establishment of a TACP initial training venue (FTU) to include aspects of organizing, training and equiping supporting elements, financial support and syllabus development. Applicants must be a subject matter expert in either air operations or ground combat arms military specialties and highly experienced in Joint Fires and Joint Airspace Command and Control procedures. The Joint Integration efforts include but are not limited to Joint Air Ground Integration Cell (JAGIC) TTP development, Air Support Operations Center (ASOC) Modernization, Civilian Casualty (CIVCAS) Mitigation, Combat Air Force/Special Operations Forces (CAF/SOF) interoperability, analysis of Air-Ground operational lessons learned and evaluation of relevant / emerging technologies. Applicants must possess outstanding oral and written communications skills, interacting with multi-service senior leadership as well as new acquisitions, briefing Headquarters Air Force/Air Combat Command and component staffs. Applicants with established program / project management skills are highly desired. Combat experience in the TACP or corresponding sister service mission areas is highly desired. The position requires moderate travel and as necessary, will occupy work space in the Joint Integration Division, ACC/A3J, at Joint Base Langley Eustis, VA.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 12 years' experience in relevant Air Force or Army / USMC / USN combat arms specialties; minimum of 10 years' experience in Joint Air-Ground operations; knowledgeable in TACP and Joint Integration operations, and possess a current Top Secret security clearance with SCI. Graduates of a service/Joint intermediate / senior professional military education school are highly desired.
