Job Description:

Leidos has an opportunity for a junior-level (2-4 years general experience) systems engineer for full time, direct support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) SAPCO element in Huntsville AL. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with excellent communication skills to collaborate closely with customer and program personnel. This position is located at the MDA Von Braun complex at Redstone Arsenal. Candidates must have an active TS clearance to be considered for the role and must be eligible for an SCI..

Primary Responsibilities

This position will assist MDA Program Offices evaluate future technology integrations with respect to their critical program information (CPI) protection requirements, and, when warranted, assist in establishing appropriate program protections beyond the collateral security structure. Additionally, this position will assist in responding to Congressional inquiries and senior OSD and Service briefings and support Director-level briefing coordination that involve Special Programs. This role requires close attention to detail and strong organizational habits as the candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment where program and process changes are the norm. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player who brings solid relationship building skills, interacts easily with all levels of government clients and contract staff members, and possesses outstanding communications skills.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in science/engineering/computer science; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

-2-4 years general systems engineering/intelligence community experience.

- Military or government DoD experience.

- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Preferred Qualifications

-Active TS/SCI clearance

- DoD Acquisition experience, previous Intelligence/Missile Defense experience

- Experience working service or agency special programs.
