Job Description:

The Logistics & Mission Support (L&MS) Organization at Leidos is currently seeking a Supply Tech III - Warehouse Operations Supervisor for our ASP/SA program in Qatar.

Primary Responsibilities:

Report to the Storage Area Operations Supervisor. Responsible for ammunition warehouse operations. Supervises storage operations including receiving, warehousing, shipping, inventories, and locations surveys.

Ensures safe handling procedures and explosive safety requirements are followed for the receipt, storage, maintenance, and issue of ammunition. Supervises receipt, storage, and shipping tasks as required. Responsible for the maintenance of planographs and placards for all storage areas. Stores and re-warehouses munitions to ensure effective use of space. Ensures proper handling of special hazard munitions. Supervises the proper housekeeping and physical security within storage facilities.

Prepares weekly storage area reports. Ensures magazine data cards and planographs are maintained on location and updated as necessary. Supervises magazine and lock maintenance. Performs location surveys and sensitive item inventories as directed. Recommends changes to the Storage Plan to maintain compatibility and compliance with Net Explosive Weight (NEW) limitations. Inspects storage facilities for evidence of illegal, unauthorized, or forced entry; and reports any broken/lost keys, and/or unsecured storage facilities to the Storage Area Operations Supervisor.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years' experience in munitions supply point operations and procedures.
  • Must have a working knowledge of ammunition storage operations.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Qatari Driver License (QDL) and a current operator's license for warehouse forklifts and other ASP/TSA equipment required to support the mission.
  • Must possess the ability to speak, read, and write in the English language.
