The Leidos Defense & Intelligence Group is seeking an Automated Tester to join the System Test Team on a dynamic program in Northern Virginia.

The Automated Tester will be responsible for testing all aspects of the system including Java and a web-based front end running on Windows clients, Linux servers, and Oracle/Postgres database, to ensure all components work on a variety of hardware ranging from simple workstations to high-end servers. The Automated Tester must have sufficient hardware/software experience to build and configure, peripherals, workstations and servers independently or with minimal guidance to create test environments that mirror a multitude of installed baselines. Excellent written and verbal skills are required to create test scenarios and/or scripts; document test results; and communicate issues to the development team while also identifying possible solutions and/or workarounds for problems.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field and 4+ years relevant technical experience
4 + years as a software/system tester, integrator, or developer
4+ years of basic SQL
4+ years of developing automated tests using Selenium Web Driver or similar technology
1-2 years working in an Agile Development Environment
1-2 years of experience using Java or other object-oriented programming language
Strong understanding of virtualized environments and experience building VMs
DESIRED SKILLS:
Familiarity with Atlassian suite of tools - JIRA, Confluence
Experience with version control, preferably GIT; IntelliJ
