Job Description:
The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Senior Exercise Support Specialist at Nellis AFB, NV. This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command's (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide exercise planning and technical support to exercise, training, test, and readiness events on an ad hoc basis, typically five events quarterly. The primary function of this task is to support and contribute to program management, monitoring, and support to ACC intelligence exercises. Provide technical support, assistance, and advice on ACC intelligence exercise matters at the Service, Joint, and IC levels and shall assist, support, and contribute to improving MAJCOM organizational support structure and program management functions. Identify, evaluate, and integrate applicable DoD, Service, and IC doctrine, TTPs into ACC and subordinate unit exercise development and training and provide MAJCOM-level representation during drafting, review, edit, and staffing of intelligence policy and guidance documents related to the ACC exercise program. Participate in, monitor, plan, and administer meetings, working groups, and other exercise planning forums to assist A2 in advocating, planning, and implementing MAJCOM, CAF, policy, doctrine, and TTPs and ensure unit training objectives conform to AF and ACC exercise training objectives tied to mission-essential tasking list and training to proper standards.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting the ACC ISR enterprise.
