Job Description:
Leidos is seeking candidates for a Test Engineer to support Ship Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) in Fairfax VA. Test Engineer will provide technical expertise in support of a mission critical Navy cryptologic system. Successful candidate will provide testing support to the Development and Operations team. MUST BE A US CITIZEN to be considered.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform user story acceptance testing during sprints
Create test procedures for new capabilities and maintain/updates procedures for modification of existing functionality
Understand and interpret system requirements to ensure procedures satisfy verification of the functionality
Create regression testing procedures
Conduct regression testing of all baseline capabilities
Generate Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM) for factory acceptance testing
Execute test procedures in front of customer witnesses
Perform O&S regression testing for minor releases
Work closely with developers to resolve discrepancies found during testing
Execute performance testing
Basic Qualifications
MUST BE A US CITIZEN to be considered
Experience performing requirements analysis
Experience with testing documentation (i.e. test plans and procedures)
Cryptologic systems experience
Experience with UNIX/Linux recommended
Experience with Solaris 8 or 10
Self-starter with an ability to work in a team environment and independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and processes
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SSEE
Familiarity with the Lighthouse architecture
Experience with performance testing software
Experience with website testing
Experience with automated testing
Experience with RedHat
Good customer relation skills
Education and experience
Bachelors of Science in software, engineering or math and 5 years+ experience
