Job Description:

Responsible for administering property control program activities to ensure continual accountability of government and associate contractor property/assets, in accordance with applicable government regulations and corporate policy. Maintains property accountability records and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment. Conducts property audits; knowledgeable of and provides guidance on government regulations pertaining to property accountability; develops, implements property administration policy and procedure; and prepares periodic and special purpose reports. May provide training or direction to less experienced staff. Represents the organization as a prime contact with internal and external personnel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Administers property control program activities to ensure continual accountability of government and associate contractor property in accordance with applicable government regulations and corporate policy.

- Maintains property accountability records and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment.

- Oversees property inventories and performs reconciliations;

- Provides guidance on government regulations pertaining to property accountability.

- Maintains an awareness of regulatory changes and their impact on contracts.

- Implements program property administration policy and procedure.

- Follows established polices, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.

- Identifies government property issues and brings to leadership for developing solutions to a variety of complex problems.

- Prepares periodic and special purpose reports.

- Represents the organization as a prime contact with customers and outside organizations, interacting with senior personnel on significant matters.

- May provide training or direction to less experienced staff.

- Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Perform Local property database management to include the following:

- Logistics property database account management

- Data input, validating, and data corrections.

- Preparing periodic contract reports for internal and external purposes.

- Developing and conducting new hire property database training.

- Responsible for developing new procedures and processes for Logistics' team use to include SOP guidance, PowerPoint, and email direction.

- Responsible for communication with internal and external contract representatives to complete transfers, loans, return merchandise authorization, disposition, and movements of all government assets.

- Responsible for communication with database developer for database issues and system development.
