Job Description:

Leidos is seeking experience software engineers for a software development effort working on the Navy Tactical Data Network (NTDN). Position requires deep understanding of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of network development and has broad understanding of other related areas.

Primary Responsibilities

Candidate will be responsible for writing and maintaining source code, creating and maintaining software applications and applying frameworks involved in a software release. Duties include computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle and resulting in a software product.

Basic Qualifications

Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and processes

Strong background in network software development

Experience with Java,

Experience with CASPORT

Experience in a Navy Tactical Data Network (NTDN) environment

Education and experience

Bachelors of Science in software or network engineering and 5 years+ experience

Preferred Qualifications

Good customer relation skills

Self-starter with an ability to work in a team environment and independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
