Job Description:

Leidos has an opening for a Technical Development Lead for a program developing a user-friendly GUI interface for a heavily used entitlement management system. This position is located in Northern Virginia and requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance in order to be considered.

This lead should be an expert with java and javascript development, should have a strong understanding of enterprise entitlement management systems and workflows, and have previous experience working with Cloud technologies. The Technical Development Lead will work closely with junior developers to accomplish goals and requirements. They will be expected to serve as a resource for junior developers and provide guidance on project execution. The Technical Development Lead will serve as a leader for Leidos-site development team. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all project actions taking place at the Leidos-site location are properly conveyed to other resources.

Mandatory Skills:

-R equires BS degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience.

-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or another related technical field

-Demonstrated experience leading technical development teams

-Demonstrated experience developing APIs

-Demonstrated experience engineering, designing, prototyping, and developing User Interfaces

-Demonstrated experience with Java and JavaScript Development

-Demonstrated experience with Subversion, Jenkins, Jira, and Git

-Demonstrated experience mentoring and guiding work for junior level developers

-Demonstrated experience developing, deploying and transitioning GUIs

-Demonstrated experience developing interface control documentation (ICD)

-Demonstrated experience designing web services

-Demonstrated experience with DevOps

-Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies and serving as a Scrum Master

Desired Skills:

-Master's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or another related technical field

-Scrum Master Certification

-Demonstrated experience working with teams to determine a program development, transition, and deployment schedule

-Demonstrated experience with microservices

-Demonstrated experience with Oracle or Similar Technologies

-Demonstrated experience with the milestone approval process

-Demonstrated experience disseminating information to development teams

-Demonstrated experience keeping an action item log and standard tools

-Strong understanding of entitlement management and workflow design

-Demonstrated experience identifying risks and providing mitigation strategies

-Demonstrated experience developing metrics on Entitlement Management workflows

-Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services technologies
