Job Description:

Leidos's Military & Veterans Solutions Health Group is currently seeking a full time Research Engineer II to support research at the Navy Medical Research Unit - San Antonio

Primary Responsibilities

a. Provide support of research with the purpose to engage in professional fluidics engineering functions involving medical research practices to support the laboratory's efforts.

b. Demonstrate knowledge of biomedical engineering principles, practices, and techniques.

c. Coordinate all design phases with contractor personnel (lab/project managers, other engineers, and technical support personnel).

d. Direct the integration, fabrication, and functional testing of systems after installation to insure that performance meets specifications and client requirements.

e. Resolve novel systems and design engineering problems which require the development of new techniques or the innovative application of new state-of-the-art technology.

f. Develop models of fluid flow in air and liquid systems.

Education and experience requirements:

Associate's Degree with 7 years' experience or Bachelor's with 2 years

Must have or be able to obtain Secret U.S. Government Clearance to be hired.
