Job Description:

The Defense Group at Leidos currently is looking to fill positions for Intermediate Information Technology Specialist - J6 to work supporting the Army Intelligence Center of Excellence HT-JCOE on Fort Huachuca, AZ. This opportunity will support the Huachuca Training and Support Contract. In this mission we will provide Training, Training Development and Training Support Intelligence Center of Excellence as they train and education the Intel force for the Army.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform System Administrator technical support to two classified and one unclassified network. Provide technical assistance to course leadership and support the NIPR/SIPR/Closed Network account creation process for cadre and students. Provide software development support, by using menus in existing software packages to change or modify parameters and training outcomes for courses and staff sections building training aids and enhancing existing training aids, course materials, and management tools. Manage requests for information regarding any aspect of the technical creation process; respond to trouble tickets regarding IT issues.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline.
  • Minimum two years' experience which includes administering Active Directory Domain, configuring group policies, administering and configuring Windows 7 computing environment, familiarity with managing, maintaining, and configuring Cisco IOS, and experience creating, managing, and deploying virtual machines in a Citrix XenDesktop provisioning services environment
  • compliant with DOD 8570 at the IAT Level II
  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time
