Job Requisition:Systems Engineer (Electronic Warfare Systems)
Leidos is seeking candidates for a Systems Engineer to support our team in Fairfax VA.
Candidate will be responsible for technical planning, system hardware-software-network design, development and integration, verification and validation, and fielding. Candidate will evaluate alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for SSEE systems. Duties include performing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance.
Candidate will be responsible for SSEE projects and processes to include coaching and reviewing the work of lower level technical staff. Candidate will develop technical solutions that require collaboration with internal and external experts. They will perform deep analyses and have an understanding of the impacts on end-product/solutions.
MUST BE A US CITIZEN to be considered
Position requires deep understanding of, and ability to apply, principles, theories, and concepts of systems engineering
Experience performing requirements analysis
Experience with testing documentation (i.e. test plans and procedures)
Cryptologic systems experience
Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and processes
Experience with SSEE
Familiarity with the Lighthouse architecture
Education and experience
Bachelors of Science in electrical or hardware engineering and 5 years+ experience with DoD Mission Systems
Good customer relation skills
Self-starter with an ability to work in a team environment and independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
