Job Description:

Leidos is currently seeking a full-time Applied Mathematician I to support the intramural human use research at the Naval Medical Research Unit Dayton, OH.

The Applied Mathematician I shall perform the following duties:
- Assist researchers in developing mathematical models of human and/or animal physiology, behavior, and cognition to support research protocols.
- Assist researchers by developing mathematical algorithms to support the operation of research devices, simulating environmental conditions of interest (e.g., dynamic acceleration exposures).
- Assist with research data analysis by applying mathematical techniques to the analysis of data sets.

Basic Requirements:

BS degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
