Job Description:

The DHS Priority Telecommunications Services (PTS) has an opening for a .Net Software Developer on a subcontract on a DHS HQ prime contract. The DHS PTS contract work is performed at the CSRA/GDIT prime contractor site in Falls Church, VA.
• Support all PTS software applications
• Work on all the phases of the software development process
• Develop code using Agile principles
• Collaborate with team members to implement improvements to existing applications or new applications
• Conduct design and code review to ensure compliance with standards
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team on resolving issues reported by customers
• Estimate level of effort to develop code to meet requirements
• Write and maintain developer documentation
• Minimum three years of experience with Microsoft .NET Framework 4 and higher and C#.NET. Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or higher (including database relationships; data normalization; and writing stored procedures, functions, and triggers)
• Ability to independently analyze, understands, fix, and modify existing software code
• Experience in debugging and testing software applications
• Communicate with management regarding status of software development and problem solving efforts

• Experience with AngularJS and Node.js
• Experience developing mobile applications using Swift for iPhone
• Experience with development tools from Microsoft such as Visual Studio and MSTest
• Experience with Javascript/NodeJS build tools such as npm, bower and grunt

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires BS degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
