The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Mid-Level DCGS Training Specialist at Goodfellow AFB, TX. This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command's (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission.
Provide instruction on AF DCGS.
Provide formal initial qualification training (IQT) for personnel assigned to support AF Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) weapon system in support of ISR operations at the operational level.
Deliver pre-mission briefing and debriefings and administer academic testing following training events.
Design, create, and update as needed course materials, curriculums, and practical training exercises.
Topics for instruction include ISR collection platform fundamentals (RADAR/IR theory, SIGINT, GEOINT, Special Payloads, Weapons Capabilities/employment and Threats), Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment, and introduction to core Air Force mission sets supported by the ISR community to include: Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Close Air Support, Combat Search and Rescue, Counter-land, Counter-Sea, and StrikeThis Coordination and Reconnaissance.
Make recommendations on updates to course curriculum, tools, systems, and technology. Implement as approved.
Mentor junior analysts and provide feedback one-on-one in learning environment.
Completed a commercial, military or Government all source analysis training course or certified in a specialized intelligence career field (i.e. Imagery or Signal Analysis).
At least 7 years' experience in exploiting and reporting data from ISR sensors and platforms.
At least 7 years' experience in data mining and research analysis applications and technology.
At least 7 years' experience with the national intelligence community reporting data bases and standards."
At least 7 years' experience as an instructor and have completed either the Basic Instructor Course certification or DIA Train the Trainer course
Experience supporting the ACC ISR enterprise.
Certified within the DCGS weapon system as either a position trainer or evaluator.
