Job Description:

Leidos's Military & Veterans Solutions Health Group is currently seeking a full time Laboratory Manager to support research at the Navy Medical Research Unit - San Antonio

Primary Responsibilities:

a. Provides research related recommendations and support to Government PIs.

b. Assists Government personnel with day-to-day laboratory operations pertaining to research related sample analyses and equipment maintenance; services shall not include inherently Governmental functions.

c. Trains non-Government technicians to use equipment and properly maintains training files.

d. Ensures all Government equipment is properly maintained and calibrated in accordance with established protocols and research SOPs.

e. Provides recommended changes to protocols and SOPs for Government approval.

f. Provides additional functions incidental to research activities and laboratory.

g. Coordinates animal research work activities between contract personnel.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree plus five years' experience or Master's degree.

Must have or be able to obtain Secret U.S. Government Clearance
