Job Description:

Leidos's Military & Veterans Solutions Health Group is currently seeking a full time Research Associate III to support research at the Navy Medical Research Unit - San Antonio

Primary Responsibilities

a. Assists with collection of supporting documentation for contract packages, IACUC/IRB protocols for projects performed under this contract, research proposals and protocols, manuscripts, SOP's, reports and presentation editing/review. Assists Government personnel in initiating and maintaining regulatory IACUC/IRB requirements.

b. Ability to develop and coordinate the implementation of clinical research studies, including regulatory requirements, maintenance of study records and all activities associated with internal and external audits.

c. Assists in ordering supplies for research under contract for animal procurement.

d. Assists in maintenance of inventory of supplies for research under contract.

e. Modifies and plans research experiment schedules, procedures, and tests.

f. Ability to develop, organize and maintain the study database and data validation.

g. Writes and edits research material for publication and presentation.

h. Oversees the work of junior level contract personnel.

i. Assists PI in tracking and updating established project budgets.

j. Assist the Government Support Agreements Manager with support agreements. All formal communication shall come from the Government Support Agreements Manager.

Education and experience requirements:

- Bachelor's degree plus ten (10) years' experience or Master's degree plus six (6) years ' experience.

Must have or be able to obtain Secret U.S. Government Clearance to be hired
