The HTASC Deputy Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to ensure successful execution on the HTASC IDIQ; meeting specific program goals and objectives. The HTASC IDIQ is projected to be a ~ 800M IDIQ with more than 550 FTE employees. Duties will include ensuring that all task orders run within scope, time, and budget constraints. The Deputy will interface with HTASC PMO, Task Order leads, Leidos Division and Group Functional leaders, HTASC Subcontractor teams, and supporting various supporting entities across the Leidos. The Deputy will manage Profit and Loss across the IDIQ and on each Task Order. When necessary, the Deputy will serve as the Program Manager.
IMPACT: The HTASC Deputy Program Manager will direct and lead Team Leidos, a team of teams, providing Training, Training Development and Training Support to the US Army Intelligence of Excellence and its subordinate elements spread across multiple locations including Fort Huachuca, AZ adjacent to Sierra Vista, AZ Goodfellow, AFB in San Angelo, Texas, and Corry Station, a satellite of Pensacola Naval Station in Pensacola, Florida. The Deputy will interact with senior leaders from the Army, Air Force, Navy and National Security Agency including Senior Service Civilians and Senior uniformed leaders representing the US Army Intelligence Center of Excellence, the US Air Force and the Air Force training Wing (Goodfellow AFB), the US Navy and the Navy Training team (Corry Station) and the national SIGINT training standards committee hosted and ran by the National Security Agency (NSA), Fort Meade, MD. The Deputy has budget accountability for all work and will manage elements of the budget.
COMPLEXITY: The Deputy will face problems and issues which are complex. They must be able to form action teams to solve the difficult issues.
COMMUNICATION: Communicates with parties within the Leidos team, the HTASC team and with the US Government customer leadership both on Fort Huachuca and in ACC Orlando. The Deputy will have the ability to influence others outside of own area on policies, practices and procedures.
LEADERSHIP & TALENT MANAGEMENT: The Deputy will manage the large HTASC team of experienced professionals by providing guidance and oversight enabling the Team to be successful using individual latitude and independence of action in their assignments. The Deputy will have hiring, firing, promotion and reward authority in accordance with manager review and approval.
KNOWLEDGE: The Deputy position requires a broad range of management and leadership knowledge leading projects and or managing service contract teams. The Deputy must have advanced knowledge, skills, and experience in leading large teams and have specific experience in managing Time, Cost, and Schedule for Intelligence service contracts.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: The Deputy positions requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
