Job Description:

Leidos's Military & Veterans Health Solutions Group is seeking a Interface Architect on the DHMSM contract in Vienna, VA. The DHMSM program provides modernization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) capabilities for the Department of Defense. The Leidos Partnership for Defense Health (LPDH) is seeking candidates for the engineering team to support a number of positions to define, implement, deploy and sustain new capabilities for the MHS GENESIS DoD EHR system.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide design and development/configuration support to DHMSM RevX interfaces, particularly those applicable to the Army General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) capability. Also provide break/fix support for deployed RevX interfaces and systems (including those applicable to GFEBS). Support technical activities to stabilize interface operation and ensure suitable interface performance.

General activities may also include:

Analyze and study complex system requirements. Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation. Manage software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques. Estimate software development costs and schedule. Review existing programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques. Supervise software configuration management. Review current status of system applications and prepare recommendations for systems improvements.

US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust government security clearance

BS Degree & 8 years' experience

Basic Qualifications

.EHR system interface configuration/implementation and operation
  • Troubleshooting of deployed IT systems
  • Requirements interpretation and decomposition
  • Software development methodologies, including testing
  • Software coding techniques
  • Cybersecurity implementations.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical Revenue Cycle systems (Cerner Patient Accounting or other comparable products)
  • GFEBS configuration/implementation and operation
  • RHAPSODY development, code modification, and troubleshooting.
