Job Description:

Have a balanced life working at Leidos as our M&S Phenomenology Analyst in our Beavercreek, OH Office and at WPAFB. Help us develop and upgrade models and simulations of electro-optical sensors and phenomena, and perform studies with these models in collaboration with Leidos and government researchers, for an applied R&D contract.

These are the fun roles you will help us on:
- Work as a technical contributor and help manage performance on multiple parallel projects
- Provide project planning, monitoring, and status reporting to Leidos and the government customer
- Provide oversight of projects goals, priorities, and mentoring of junior staff
- Work on problem solving skills and be self-motivated with a can-do attitude

These are the skills that are needed to be successful in this job:
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical or Electro-Optics, Physics or Engineering Physics, or a related field with at least 8 years' experience, or Master's degree with at least 6 years' experience.
- Must have a Secret security clearance and ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
- In-depth understanding of M&S, electro-optical sensors and the underlying physics
- Experience to understand and manage complex systems and engineering tasks
- Ability to communicate, coordinate and adapt to cross disciplines in a laboratory environment
- Modeling and analysis with MATLAB/Simulink and C++/C
- Good computer skills using MS Windows with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong presentation and report writing

- Active Top Secret clearance
- Window and Linux experience
- Experience with CUDA, PERL
- Experience with Image processing, real-time signal processing, and parallel processing
-Experience with Aerodynamics, coordinate transformations, and large data sets
