Leidos is seeking Enterprise Software and System Engineering Manager to provide Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) and Post Production Software Support (PPSS) engineering and technical services to the CECOM Software Engineering Center Mission Command Division based in Aberdeen MD with operations located at both Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD and Ft. Sill/Lawton, OK.
Successful candidates will support our customer in creating capabilities and providing technical services and subject matter expertise in Mission Command, Fires and C2 Maneuver systems. We provide software engineering and technical support to the Family of Tactical and Strategic Mission Command systems to include: FBCB2, JCR, JBC-P, FSS, Common Software, BCCS, TSI, GCCS-A, TS3, TDI, CPI2, DCO, TDM, COE v3, CPCE, Command Web, DDS, CPOF, GCCS-A; SICPS and MIP/ACIS as well as the US Army's FIRES Family of Systems including: AFATDS, JADOCS, FOS, FF-Q37, FF-Q36, Centaur LWTFDS, PVM, MMS-P, PFED, LCMR Q50, AN/TQP-53 and LCMR Q49.
Additional support functions include: Systems Engineering, Software Development, Integration & Test, Information/Software Assurance, Requirements Analysis, Configuration Management, Quality Assurance, Systems Administration, Network Engineering, Property Management, and Lab Support.
As a key member of the Program Management Team, the Enterprise Software and System Engineering Manager will work closely with the Program Manager, the Enterprise Resource Manager as well as the subordinate engineering and support organization in addressing and executing all aspects of all assigned software sustainment efforts.
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required.
Minimum of 5 Years' experience is required.
Must be able to provide functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software systems, including, but not limited to application software, utility software, development software, and diagnostic software. Must be able to participate in the development of test strategies, devices, and systems. Must be able to solve engineering problems (or managing the solution of engineering problems in the functional area to which assigned.
Must be able to interact with users to translate their requirements into system, hardware, and software requirements and design. Must be able to solve engineering problems (or manage the solution of engineering problems) in the functional area to which assigned.
Experience in AGILE processes and DI2E or similar development environment necessary.
Experience in a fast paced multi-system software support environment extremely important.
An advanced degree is desired.
