Job Description:

Leidos is looking for a Program Manager for an upcoming program in Chantilly, VA.

The Program Manager will be responsible for overall Program performance. The PM will be available to plan, direct, and control the overall management and operational functions specified herein during normal hours of operation and during periods of no-notice emergencies. The individual will be responsible for removing impediments from their teams while promoting self-management and improving standards of work. The individual will manage multiple teams, will work in high-pressure production environments and deliver outstanding products for multiple customers each under tight deadlines and constraints. Individual will act as single Point of Contact for customer interface.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex and inter-related project tasks.
  • Manages teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations.
  • Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
  • Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.


Basic Qualifications

Requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.

Generally has 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
