Job Description:

Leidos is seeking a multi-talented professional to join the Capture Operations team in the Rockville, MD (primary) and Reston, VA offices as Administrative Specialist and Proposal Facilities Lead.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is the primary administrative and programmatic support liaison to the Capture Operations and Excellence (CO&E) team and includes the following responsibilities:
-Actively manage daily and long-range activities in the Rockville proposal facility, which includes ever-changing meetings and priorities relative to the SVP, Capture Operations and management staff. Track due dates for projects/action items for SR VP and his staff. Ability to independently gather, analyze and report on CO&E operational metrics, as needed.
-Build effective relationships with Capture Operations team and other senior leadership and executive administrative assistants
-Make travel arrangements and process expense reports in a timely manner for one SVP.
-Evaluate internal staff requests, identify issues and determine appropriate source for resolution. Provide direction in routine situations.
-Organize staff off-sites, scheduling rooms and appropriate AV equipment and centralized catering for planned and ad-hoc business meals.
-Manage facility badge access, visitor access, and ensure that all non- Leidos employees supporting a proposal team in Corporate Blvd are badged in a timely manner.
-Work with the Infrastructure Lead to ensure Rockville-based employees and guests receive the appropriate assets to ensure access to the Leidos network.
-Maintain the Corporate Blvd floor plan and room assignments, set up offices for new hires, and manage Rockville proposal team facility use and mitigate or appropriately escalate any issues that arise.
-Initiate and submit facility maintenance requests. This includes working with onsite IT to ensure that New Scale support tickets are submitted.
-Support site specific data calls as requested.
-When a team vacates a "proposal space", ensure it is reconfigured to its original state and alert cleaning services as appropriate.
-Provide input to the weekly utilization report, and support other site- specific data calls as needed.
-This may occasionally require weekend or evening on call hours during periods of high proposal activity.
-Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
-Although based in Rockville, MD, this role will involve frequent daytime travel to local sites in Reston and Chantilly, VA.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, and EXPERIENCE:
-Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience preferred. High-school diploma and 6+ years of prior relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
The successful candidate must possess:
-Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including the ability to design presentations in PowerPoint and manipulate spreadsheets in Excel
-Experience preparing budgeting reports, project scheduling, and statistical reports as needed.
-Outstanding interpersonal skills and a professional presence is an absolute must. This includes the ability to communicate with colleagues across functional areas and the ability to speak publically to groups of visiting professional staff to explain solutions, practices and procedures pertaining to CO&E as well as Leidos policy and practice.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Writing samples may be requested during the interview process.

-Keen ability to solve problems that are vague in nature and that may require an understanding of government contracting and proposal domain.
