Job Description:

Leidos is seeking an experience and motivated Analytics and Software Developer to support High Performance Computing Solutions Office to include CSDI (Cryptanalytic Services Development & Integration), High Performance Data Analytics, Architecture Development, and Data Vortex used for big data graph analytics and benchmarking.

Primary Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will use his or her software development and data analytics experience to assist the team in determining the value of their products and workflow. The selected candidate will forward deploy to work with mission subject matter experts and create analytics that will feed the application, a data-driven tool that enriches and visualizes outcomes. The selected candidate will work on a diverse team of engineers to develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. The selected candidate will resolve software problem reports; as well as utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. The selected candidate shall provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Basic Qualifications:
• BS Degree with minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering OR MS Degree and 2 - 6 years of experience in software engineering
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
• At least 5 years experience with:
o Experience as hybrid developer/data analyst
o Accumulo
o Niagrafiles (NiFi)
o Java
o Scala
o ELK Stack

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with data management transport
• Spring Boot
