The Mission Support Division of Leidos is seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Lead to support a program in Northern Virginia. This position will require an active TS/SCI with Polygraph Security Clearance to be considered. The Configuration Management Lead will be responsible for maintaining the software baseline for all program applications and components, performing configuration audits and maintaining the document repository for the program in Subversion. Additionally, the CM Lead will be called upon to provide media containing the latest baseline and will facilitate the Technical Review Board (TRB) meeting. The Configuration Lead will manage releases and maintain the program baseline using Bit Bucket (GIT).
Bachelor's Degree in related field and 8+ years of experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree. • 4+ years of CM experience • Strong writing skills and attention to detail • Establish end-to-end processes for documentation, test and engineering release activities • Facilitate communication between Engineering, Ops, Training and Test teams regarding releases • Manage multiple JIRA projects • Support field personnel with issue tracking, support documentation and deployment preparedness • Use Subversion (SVN) Configuration Management and Bit Bucket (GIT) for all changes affecting the operational baseline and as the final repository for code and program documentation • Provide monthly configuration and document metric reporting for management review • Facilitate Technical Review Board (TRB) meetings • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a Configuration Management plan, Configuration Management and Document Management procedures. • Knowledge of diverse programming languages including Java, .Net, Objective-C, Ruby, PHP and ActionScript so as to update/review build scripts for these different project types. • Knowledge of Windows and Linux distributions. • Knowledge of Continuous Integration servers and processes and how to leverage in a Software CM process. • Must be proficient in M/S Word and PowerPoint
