Leidos is looking for an experienced candidate to fill a position supporting the nation's nuclear deterrence mission with the N1 National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Defense Programs as the review coordinator for major weapon acquisition program Independent Baseline Reviews. This position requires an experienced person with demonstrated capabilities for coordinating travel and meeting logistics, taking and publishing notes, and following through on action items. A DOE Q clearance is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Become familiar with the weapon acquisition program's integrated baseline, requirements, procedures and processes and the purpose and desired outcome of the IBR.
• Assume overall responsibility for organizing the teams, scheduling pre-visit team training, preparing materials, coordinating site visits, scheduling interviews, participating in the site reviews, note taking, documenting corrective actions and assisting with preparing a final report.
• Coordinate and travel with Independent Baseline Review (IBR) teams for site visits to national security laboratories and nuclear weapon production facilities Managing and Operating contractors (M&Os) to evaluate the effectiveness of the M&O's understanding and execution of assigned work scopes.
• Adhere to the 2019 IBR schedule established by the weapon program federal program manager which is: March - April, preparation: May - August, data review and site visits; September, final report writing.

Basic Qualifications:

• Active DOE Q clearance

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field.
• Twelve or more years' of related experience.
• Experience with program baseline development, process and procedures, and execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience in developing and writing technical reports.
• Excellent organization skills and a good phone manner.
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating teams to accomplish fact-finding for audits or baseline reviews.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite with particular emphasis on word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel).

Preferred Qualifications:

List additional skills and experience that is "nice to have" but not required.
• Knowledge of and experience with nuclear weapons programs and activities.
