Job Description:

Leidos has a job opening for a Software Developer Intern in Orlando, FL.

As a software developer intern, you will work closely with ITS / EIM team to analyze, develop, implement, and support EIM systems. The candidate will contribute throughout the data management lifecycle process areas such as data acquisition, management, manipulation, and analyze of data; build reports and develop integration solution using Java development framework & EDI within Enterprise Data Warehouse environment.

-Research and identify problematic areas to determine best course of action to correct the data.-Works with data warehouse team to analyze and design solutions to meet the business requirements.
-Analyze and problem solves issues within current systems as they relate to the integration and management of the data-Creates and maintains system development documentation including functional requirements, use cases, test plans and test cases.
-Transitions requirements and use cases to development ensuring a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.
-Performs testing according to test plans and documents test results.-Support users during user acceptance testing.
-Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion.

-Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in the information technology arena; OR an Associate's degree coupled with 4+ years' experience in the information technology arena; OR a High School diploma coupled with 6+ years' experience in the information technology arena. or equivalent, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
-Experience in Business Intelligence, analytic computing, data analysis, and pattern identification with various forms of data.
-Experience developing reports (i.e. Real-time, Ad-hoc, Dashboards, Scorecards, etc.).
-Experience with Oracle relational database; design, structure, data associations, and SQL language.
-Excellent communication and organizational skills.
-Ability to perform data analysis, troubleshoot data integrity issues and strong analytical/problem solving.
-US citizenship is required.

-Experience in documenting and mapping interaction (source-to-target, source-to-ETL mapping) between business processes, information, and data for projects which are of medium to high complexity and moderate to high risk.
-Experience with reporting tools such as Cognos, OBIEE and EPM Interactive Reporting.
-Working Knowledge of Java Programing, Oracle PL/SQL packages and procedures.
-Familiarity with development methodology such as Agile, Waterfall and Systems Engineering.
