Leidos has an opening for an Intelligence Analyst to provide database and user support to the Office of Naval intelligence. All work is onsite in Suitland, MD; an active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this role. .
Primary Responsibilities .
The successful candidate will support ONI's Maritime Information Branch's Movement team by meeting the requirements for the Seawatch deliverables, including Seawatch, Generic Area Limitation Environment (GALE), Web Temporal Analyst System (WEBtas) and other Intelink user database support. Monitor and correct "rejected/un-equated" ship positional data, as well as, update port/place name tables to ensure automatic processing of ship data. Provide ELINT support and ensure positional data is published to the SeaWatch database. Conduct user testing of the functionality of new and modified SeaWatch, GALE, SWAT, and WEBtas applications.
Perform ad hoc tasking from both internal and external customers in support various mission sets. Search and maintain surveillance of certain geographic regions and vessels of interest using OPELINT related tools. Conduct open source research, author operational intelligence reports and executive level intelligence assessments.
Train Navy reservists and branch personnel as needed.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance
4 yrs of relevant experience
2+ yrs experience performing all source analysis in the Intelligence Community, ideally focused on Civil Maritime shipping, ship building, ship characteristics, ship operations, or the maritime industry
2+ yrs of experience with NSA's WRANGLER database and Gale Lite.
Skills comparable to the Navy's Cryptologic Technician Technical (CTT) at the E-5 level (or NEC 9140, NEC 9102, or USMC MOC 31) which includes at least 2 years of experience with OPINTEL analysis and identification of military ship radar signals
Proficiency with Geographic Information Systems such as Google Earth/ArcGIS
Proficiency with message handling systems such as TAC and M3
Experience conducting open source research and authoring operational intelligence reports/executive level intelligence assessments
Ability to train Navy reservists performing SeaWatch work from the same facility and ability to train branch personnel to perform Seawatch task
Ability to train Navy reservists performing HUMINT Online Tasking and Reporting (HOT-R) work from the same facility
