Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Systems and Development Team Leader in Paducah, Kentucky. The Systems and Development Team Leader will provide functional team oversight, staff resource management, and directs daily task activities of Windows Servers, Virtualization, Storage Systems, SQL Database Management, Application Development, and Backup Capabilities at Department of Energy, located at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant, Paducah Kentucky.

The Systems and Development Team's objective is to support the DOE mission by providing application development, configuration of third-party software, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of DOE's on-site network infrastructure. Through maintaining reliable operation of server systems, data backups, and comprehensive disaster recovery program, the Systems and Development Team endeavors to support the user population and contractor needs as well as DOE's mission.

Additional Responsibilities Include:
  • P rovide technical direction of Data Center Operations that will include, but not limited to, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Exchange Servers, VMware Vsphere, Nutanix virtualization and zero disk infrastructure, 3PAR Storage Systems, SQL Databases, Application Development, Share Point, and Backup / Restore capabilities

The Systems and Development Team Lead provides resource management of up to eight functional team members located at Department of Energy, Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant, Paducah Kentucky.

Required Qualifications:
  • Typically requires BS and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with Disaster Recovery, Microsoft Exchange, SQL Database and Backup/Restore Applications
  • DOE Q Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years' experience managing the following technologies: VMware vSphere and Records Management
