Job Description:

Leidos Defense Group has an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the CBP NAML mission in aircraft maintenance and logistics support to ensure availability and readiness to meet operational commitments.

Leidos has multiple openings and levels of positions for Corrosion Control Technicians. These positions are at the customer sites in the following locations:
• Miami, FL
• North Island, CA

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide input in development and implementation of aircraft corrosion control strategy / program
Execution of corrosion prevention methods on aircrafts, aircraft equipment and aircraft system components based on the operating environment
Develop and implement corrective action plan when needed
Detects and treats corrosion and inspects aircraft and equipment for corrosion during scheduled and unscheduled inspections
Apply the appropriate safety techniques for corrosion treatment and painting operations
Maintain meticulous notes / documentation of work performed

Basic Qualifications:
Level 1 -requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and less than two (2) years prior relevant experience
Level II - requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two (2) years of prior relevant experience, Masters with less than two (2) years of prior relevant experience; or six (6) years of experience in lieu of degree

All positions require
Valid Driver's License
Secret clearance with the ability to pass a SSBI
May be subjected to random drug tests

Preferred Qualifications:
Military technical school degree
