Primary Responsibilities: Leidos is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to develop, manage, and implement the Configuration Management (CM) processes and procedures.

• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) as required by the program.
• Identify, document and baseline Configuration Items (CIs) for the program.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) as required by the program.
• Conduct Baseline Configuration Audits (BCAs) prior to each test events and conduct CM Verification & Validation (V&V) for non-testing environments.
• Maintain configuration control for baseline environments.
• Ensure all changes to the process methods and processes are properly approved, communicated and managed throughout the CM lifecycle.
• Facilitate and distribute meeting minutes for Engineering Change Review Board (ECRB) as required.
• Participate in Technical Review Boards (TRBs) as required.
• Conduct analysis of hardware and software inventory data that are produced by the data centers for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide CM input as request to program documents.

Basic Qualifications:


• One + year of experience in deployment automation and configuration of tools. 
• Demonstrable experience with configuration management deliverables (Configuration Management Plan, Functional and Physical Configuration audit reports)
• Ability to collaborate well with stakeholders (work closely with the stakeholders)
• Desire to work in a high business tempo environment that spans many LAN/WAN technology disciplines

Preferred Qualifications
List additional skills and experience that is “nice to have” but not required. 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
• Assist in production support of business applications: start and stop of application instances; trouble shoot application failures, and diagnosing performance or reliability issues of applications; assisting application teams in the use custom support tools.
• Prior DoD Civilian or Military service desired.
