The Radar Video Map (RVM) on the NISC III contract is an Aeronautical Information team supporting the Federal Aviation Administration. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist the Leidos RVM team as well as the FAA, in creating Aeronautical Charts to provide digital drafting and aeronautical information management support for the preparation of Maps related products for the FAA's Air Traffic Support Group
Analyze and produce different types of Aeronautical charts used to assist Air Traffic Control facilities.
Creation of Aeronautical charts using Computed Assisted Drawing software and aeronautical databases.
Analyze Aerial Photography for airport verification and facilities.
Interact with FAA ASM team members and FAA Management in the validation of aeronautical maps and databases.
Continuous learning of Aeronautical Information Systems and procedures.
Candidate may telework once a week with Manager's approval.
Typically requires BS degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Geography or related discipline from an accredited College or University and 2 or less years of experience.
Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
Knowledge in Bentley Microstation CAD Software
Knowledge in E.S.R.I Geographic Information System
