Job Requisition:Unit Deployment Manager
Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Unit Deployment Manager. Candidates must possess a current TS/SCI security clearance in order to be considered. The ideal candidate will provide critical assistance in processing unit member deployments and maintaining necessary databases to include JAUSS, SORTS, ART, and DRRS. The selected candidate will serve as primary or alternate Contingency Operations Manager for the Special Operations unit. They will be responsible for reviewing planning documents to determine deployment tasking as well as monitoring inputting, extracting, and interpreting data in information systems. Candidate will prepare for and assist with all phases of deployments to include bed-down of forces. Maintain a close relationship with operations, logistics, and support organizations to enhance support of the combat mission. Analyze and recommend requirements for forward movement of forces to support theater commanders. Duties include tracking and scheduling mobility training for unit members, acquiring and issuing initial and deployment equipment, building and maintaining mobility folders, accompanying members through the Personnel Deployment Function (PDF) and cargo through the Cargo Deployment Function (CDF) during exercises and real-world deployments, and arranging travel for deployers to and from monthly rotator departure and return locations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must have 10 years of related experience as a deployment manager. A Bachelor’s degree may be combined with 4 years of related experience to meet the 10 year requirement. The candidate must have a working knowledge and recent demonstrated experience with DRRS, SORTS, and ART reporting tools. Must have the ability to work independently and function as part of a dynamic team. The candidate must also communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Previous experience with Air Force Special Operations deployments desired. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
