Job Requisition:Tier 2 Regional Lead - TS/SCI with Poly
The Tier 2 Network Engineer Regional Lead will have intimate knowledge of the day to day workload at each location that he/she is responsible for. They will prioritize incident tickets, tasks, and other site specific requirements. Each lead must know what is going on at the site at any given time. The lead will be acting as the release managers for each site and will provide inputs on a daily basis regarding the progress of incoming transition tasks. They will provide weekly inputs on any significant events, tasks, and/or achievements at their sites. After incoming transition, this will take the form of a weekly activity report. They will contribute to dial-ins for site personnel on at least a weekly basis to discuss leadership pass down, site specific challenges, or any other pertinent topics.
The selected candidate must understand the site and enterprise well enough to work through network-related issues with all stakeholders at the facility and across the enterprise. The candidate may be working at a customer facility and with the customer directly, so they require good communication skills and the ability to multi-task efforts based on a dynamic environment and changing priorities.
The program supports a 24x7x365 mission critical customer environment. Although this is a day shift position, employees may be scheduled to work or called in to work during off hours to meet customer mission support requirements. A Single Scope Background Investigation and polygraph are required.
* 5 years’ experience in design, maintenance, and operation of small to medium sized networks
* 5 years’ experience with military networks, CISCO routing and switching, and network troubleshooting
* Knowledge of Cisco Switching/Routing product line
* Hands-on experience diagnosing network related issues
* Ability to work independently to resolve technical issues in a dynamic environment.
* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
* Security+ Certification
COMSEC experience and certifications
Requires BS and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience.
