Job Description:

The Leidos Innovation Center has an exciting opening for a Training Development Specialist at our customer sites in Bethesda, MD. You will be responsible for developing training curriculum and materials for the DOMEX Data Discovery Platform (D3P) program, which advances the state of the art in mission-focused big data analytics tools. Specifically, you will, design and deliver training for end- users to effectively utilize complex case management, workflow, and reporting applications, digital forensics applications, enterprise search applications, and advanced analytics (e.g. social network analysis, activity-based analysis). Also plan and perform analytical and system research, design development, and other assignments in support of user experience design and customer specifications. You will also get to coordinate the activities of operators and technicians assigned to specific analytical projects in providing system help desk support.

- Demonstrated aptitude for matching training materials and techniques to address the unique needs of highly-technical adult learners, problem solving complex technical issues, identifying, transforming, thinking outside the box, and a strong sense of accountability.
- We need you to have a mix of training acumen, technical proficiency, intellectual curiosity, communications skills, customer-focus, and operational analytic experience to improve the performance and user adoption of a high-end data analytics platform in partnership with a highly qualified, highly motivated team.
- You need to be motivated, self-driven team player who can multi-task and interact well with others and advise/consult with other team members on systems engineering and software development related issues.

To be successful in this role you need the following:
- B.S. in a Curriculum and Instruction, Human Systems Integration, Technical Field, or a related discipline, and 2+ total years of experience. Eight years of system assessment and technical training experience can be used in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- Must have an Active Top Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI DoD clearance.
- 6 years of experience working with Department of Defense / Intelligence Community analysts and operators fielding and training new systems, and gathering user feedback.
- 6 years of experience designing and delivering training for end- users to effectively utilize complex case management, workflow, and reporting applications, digital forensics applications, enterprise search applications, and advanced analytics (e.g. social network analysis, activity-based analysis).
- 6 years of experience designing and delivering training for system administrators to plan, deploy, optimize, and manage complex big data processing systems in a manner consistent with the mission assigned to that system.
- 6 years of experience in defining and recording training needs and designing curriculum and materials for new training courses for novice and expert digital forensics examiners, analysts, special agents, scientists, and collectors.
- 6 years of experience developing content-rich courseware, online help, and user documentation in formats which best meets the learning needs and characteristics of the highly-technical adult learner.
- Superior knowledge in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) practices and principles to tailor course content and instructional methods to highly-technical areas.
- 6 years of experience delivering training through instructor-led classroom training, Web-based Training (WBT) methodologies, and interactive training techniques.
- Experience preparing course materials in format required for training, providing quality assurance on all prepared documentation, including online help and online manuals to content management systems and prepare printed materials.
- Well-developed verbal, oral, text, video, virtual and presentation skills; ability to professionally communicate with all categories of program stakeholders.

You will wow us even more if you have these skills:
- 6 years of experience in defining and recording training needs and designing curriculum and materials for new training courses for novice and expert digital forensics examiners, analysts, special agents, scientists, and collectors.
- Experience utilizing automated tracking and evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of its training programs, such as questionnaires, course evaluation forms, and user surveys.
- Experience scheduling training courses, registering participants, scheduling resources for training events, and the entry and maintenance of training statistics in an automated tracking system.
- Experience with preparing course schedules for dissemination to users, notifying course attendees of information pertinent to the course, scheduling training rooms and ensuring they are properly equipped and set up for the training sessions.
